Friends of INFF
The Irish Natural Forestry Foundation (INFF) is a small but influential organisation dedicated to improving the state of Irish forestry by challenging current policy and practices and demonstrating that environmentally sustainable forestry is possible, desirable, profitable and in the long run essential. By becoming a friend of INFF you will be giving your support to
- Campaigning, at national and E.U. level to stop the current policy of planting huge, environmentally damaging monoculture plantations of predominantly non native species designed for clearfelling.
- Demonstrating an alternative where the woodland aspects of amenity, biodiversity and commercial gain are present in a mutually supportive and truly sustainable way.
- Campaigning for changes to current forestry grant structures.
- Providing courses that encourage better land management.
- Continuing the development of our unique educational resource that is reaching thousands of school children every year.
