Irish Natural Forestry Foundation Membership
INFF aims are to influence policy on forestry issues, help preserve Ireland’s forests and spread the word on the relevance of forestry to every one of us.
Trees are so much more than simply trees! Trees are the homes of thousands of tiny insects, provide shelter for a variety of birds and animals, hold large masses of soil together, and are vital storage centres for water and carbon. No trees equals no people.
Your membership to INFF will ensure we can continue to voice the concerns of the general population when it comes to the big decisions on our forests. And because we want to make trees relevant to you, we also want you to have fun!
Why should I Join?
Our members have extensive access to our 360 acre site. We have 20 kilometres of walkways, through woodlands old and new, and along the edge of the Blackwater and the Bandon Rivers. Access to our members is from dawn til dusk, 7 days a week.
Our exciting Open Days are exclusively free to our members in 2012. Open Days are the first Sunday of every month, the summer dates include 6th May, 3rd June, 1st July and 5th August. Each Open Day is different, but involves a walk in the woods, a talk or demonstration, a raffle, with tea, coffee and cake available!
Details of our Open Days are on our Events Page
Members will also be offered a reduced rate on all of our Events (such as the Easter Woodland Camp) and Adult Education courses (which range from hedge-laying to a basket weaving). Our courses and activities will be constantly evolving under the influence of our members, and we want you to be proactive about helping us create an exciting vibrant space in your community.
How much does it cost?
Annual membership rates are €35 per person, €50 for a couple, and €75 for a family. Family membership is for up to five people, with maximum of two adults.
Membership is flexible, and so there is an option to take out a weekly membership which will be €5 per person or €15 for a family, one month membership for only €10 per person, or €30 for a family. This is refundable if you choose to take out an annual membership at the end of the month.
